Success for all depends upon each member of the team working together in beautiful synchronicity toward executing the shared vision. We’ve found that when the right partners align, not only does the event meet and exceed the expectations of the couple, but we all have a damn good time working together, too!
While our artistic style is likely what brought you here, we won’t spend time describing the aesthetic for you – that’s best left to the interpretation of you and your couple. What we do want you to know is what it’s like working with us –– not only on event day, but in the months, and sometimes years leading up to the wedding.

Magi's background in law lends a professional, organized, and refined approach that presents both our clients and our colleagues a sense of trust and comfort in our polished framework — both on the back-end of communications and on the celebration day. This means we’re easy to reach, responsive, concise, and always ready to offer strategic solutions and support. Adept at covering both intimate, editorial affairs and week-long, epic bashes, we have a time-proven process that makes sure we have all of the information and logistics planned well in advance to ensure comprehensive, efficient photography coverage and timely delivery of the imagery afterwards no matter the scale and scope of the event.
Scott's background in surfing and elementary school counseling balances out our seriousness with a sense of flow, meditative artfulness, and calming energy. He has a knack for not only putting our couples and their guests at ease in front of the camera, but also providing that harmonious and supportive energy to the entire vendor team, as well. An empathetic relator to his core, Scott knows how to respectively support, connect, and include couples and their guests from all cultures, religions, ages, gender identities, and abilities.
During events, we are professional and discreet in our presentation, inspired by the beauty of the location, the people, and the event design. We know how to disappear into the background when the time calls for it, but also when our couples require feeling like they’re hanging out with a longtime friend. At the end of the day, we’re fueled by empathy, kindness, and authentic connection to our couples and our colleagues.
Our approach
Because we take on a limited number of weddings each year, we provide high touch, concierge service to our couples and their planning teams. This also enables us to provide sneak peek imagery in under 24 hours, ideal if there are press and media demands on the event, and to rapidly turn around the additional deliverables.

Each event is unlike any other, which is why we create a bespoke service collection for each inquiry. Your proposal will include an assistant for Magi and Scott, additional photographers if required, travel, ample coverage for all events that require photography during and leading up to the wedding weekend (i.e. the engagement session, rehearsal dinner, welcome party, farewell brunch, etc. – you tell us which ones you’d like us to be at), digital image galleries, and tangible keepsakes such as albums and prints. Together, we strike a balance between polished professionalism and relaxed authenticity.
By drawing on their own experience as husband and wife and their complementary masculine and feminine perspectives, the duo provides a collaborative and balanced approach to every event.
